Good buy but weight is a worry
Been using it for about a week. The phone is big and heavy due to its large battery. Performance wise it is value for money if you are a normal user like me. No heavy gaming. Using it for playing music, videos and social media works wonders. Display is brilliant for watching movies etc. Single speaker but just enough. Fully charged battery lasts well over 2 days – its biggest plus. Did not experience any heating or lag issues yet. Haven’t used its camera extensively yet, so can’t comment. Overall I feel a good buy. Weight is a slight worry though.

Review after 4 months of heavy usage.1. Extra large, bright and sturdy screen ( I use without screen gaurd, and have dropped it atleast 10 times)2. Amazing battery life. Easily comes for 2-3 days. ( I read novels for atleast 3 hrs a day). The charging time is good enough. 30 mins charging will easily last more than a day.3. The performance is as expected at this price range, not too great and not too bad.having plenty of RAM helps.4. The camera was a pleasant surprise. I bought this phone fully expecting a bad camera ( lots of previous experience with redmi phones). But the day time shots are crisp and the logging and hdr are very good, much better than many other phones in this price segment. Let’s not talk about low light photography. ( U get what u pay for).Overall a great purchase for a budget phone . Ps: I changed to this as my primary phone, and my iphone 12 as backup.

Overall a good budget phone with enormous battery.
Overall a good product but it has certain limitations and a couple of bugs. I use phone for simple functions and not for gaming.Camera – 4.5 – You can’t zoom out(zoom reduction), simply not supported. Couple of bugs including – alarm – sometimes, alarm fails and the phone doesn’t vibrate or rings at the set time. Display, sound – is all fine.. sometimes it exhibits laggy behavior.Overall – 4.5 out of 5.I hope the company takes a cue from Samsung and other brands and try to fix above listed issues.

Best redmi phone ever
This is actually a really good phone, please ignore the negative reviews. People who are complaining about not fast charging, go to battery setting and select speed up option. It takes about 2 hours to go from 0 to 100 on standard charging mode and about 1 hour or so to go from 0 to 100 on speed up charge mode.I did not see any lagging at all, phone’s performance is very smooth and so fast, apps install and uninstall very quickly. people who are heavy game users may add virtual RAM in memory extension option, I added 6GB more so now I have 12GB on 6GB RAM variant.Network performance is also awesome, it supports B28 band so BSNL 4G internet works amazing on this phone, I am getting 42-50 Mbps 4G speed even inside home. This is the main reason why I bought it and also because of huge battery.Phone camera is also good, you can play with color gradient in phone in settings and see what you like best. It has amazing AI filters and features for pics including erase.And phone’s aesthetic value is also appealing, screen is very large and you can get matte screen guard to make screen look even more pleasing than the standard glass screen protectors. Phone is little bit heavy but that’s obviously because of it’s huge size.
